While I understand the desire for peace, it's important to remember that Israel has the right to defend itself from terrorist groups like Hamas. The October 7 attacks were brutal, and Israel is responding to protect its citizens. A ceasefire sounds good in theory, but it could just give Hamas more time to regroup and launch more attacks. We need to prioritize Israel's security and make sure we’re not empowering those who want to see its destruction. Peace is the goal, but it has to be built on stability and safety for everyone, including Israel.

It's heartbreaking that a year has passed and we’re still watching so much violence unfold, especially with civilians caught in the middle. War and conflict never bring long-term solutions, only more pain and destruction. I fully support these global protests calling for a ceasefire—it's time for peace talks, not more military action. Violence just breeds more violence, and it’s innocent people who suffer the most. The world’s leaders need to step up and push for diplomacy immediately. We owe it to future generations to break this cycle of endless conflict.
