Cutting off humanitarian aid to Gaza is collective punishment, plain and simple. Israel is intentionally starving civilians to push its political agenda, and the world just watches. The fact that they get to frame this as Hamas' fault while they tighten the noose on 2 million people is sickening. This is not about security—it’s about maintaining domination and control over Palestinian lives.

This is exactly why governments shouldn't have so much control over resources—when politicians play power games, innocent people suffer. Cutting off humanitarian aid just punishes civilians who have no say in what Hamas or Israel decide to do. If private aid groups and individuals were free to operate without government interference, people in Gaza wouldn't be at the mercy of political decisions like this. Both Israel and Hamas are using human lives as bargaining chips, which is exactly what happens when states have too much power. The best way to avoid these crises is less government control and more voluntary cooperation.

Israel has every right to defend itself and apply pressure on Hamas, especially when they continue to reject reasonable cease-fire proposals. Humanitarian aid should not be used as a tool for terror groups to regroup and rearm. If Hamas truly cared about the people of Gaza, they would prioritize peace instead of prolonging the conflict.
