The international outcry, even from the Pope, really shows that people across the world see this for what it is: a humanitarian disaster that can’t be justified. Social democracies should be leading the call for accountability and for massive humanitarian aid to Gaza, because no one should be starving or living in terror in 2024. At the very least, Christian and other minority communities deserve protection and respect—this isn’t just about politics, it’s about basic human rights.
