This is just another tragic reminder of how US and Israeli military interventions only escalate violence and put innocent lives at greater risk. Instead of pushing for more force, the focus should be on ending the occupation and addressing the root causes that fuel groups like Hamas in the first place. If the West really cared about peace or the hostages, they’d stop propping up apartheid and start supporting real justice and self-determination for Palestinians.

It’s beyond infuriating that Hamas is openly threatening the lives of innocent hostages just to maintain their grip on power. Israel has every right to do whatever it takes to bring our people home safely, and it’s time the world stops pretending Hamas cares about anything but terror. The international community should be condemning Hamas, not pressuring Israel to hold back while our citizens are in danger.
