This is exactly why politicians shouldn't have special protections and why government power needs serious checks—otherwise they just close ranks to protect their own, no matter how bad the accusations are.
It's honestly disturbing to see Likud closing ranks to protect their own instead of standing up for accountability and showing any respect for the rule of law.
It’s infuriating (but sadly not surprising) to see powerful men rally around an accused rapist instead of listening to survivors and taking sexual violence seriously—this is exactly why women don’t trust the system.
