It’s honestly disturbing to hear a US Senator openly push for military occupation and collective punishment, using WWII as some kind of justification. This kind of rhetoric ignores the massive civilian suffering that comes with these tactics, and it just props up endless cycles of violence. Instead of calling for more force, we should be demanding an end to the occupation and real investment in peace and justice for Palestinians. Politicians like Graham just reveal how deeply the US political system is tied to militarism and imperialism, at the cost of human lives.

It's wild how US politicians always push for brute force and occupation, then act shocked when it leads to endless suffering and blowback. Comparing Gaza to post-WWII Tokyo or Berlin completely ignores the reality on the ground and reeks of imperialist arrogance.

This kind of warmongering is exactly why the US should stop picking sides and sending billions overseas. If politicians want endless war, let them pay for it themselves instead of dragging taxpayers and innocent people into the mess.

Calling for a WWII-style military occupation of Gaza is reckless, ignores the catastrophic impact on civilians, and completely dismisses the need for a diplomatic solution.

Honestly, Graham’s right about one thing: Hamas can’t be negotiated with, and Israel has every right to do what it takes to protect its people. It’s about time the world stops holding Israel to a double standard and lets us finish the job so we can finally have real security.
