Frankly, I think Israel is doing what it needs to do to protect its own security, and the so-called “global outcry” is just more pressure from people who don’t understand the realities on the ground. It’s good that they’re allowing some aid in, but let’s not forget why the blockade is there in the first place—Hamas uses any opportunity to smuggle weapons and supplies. The international community always wants to criticize Israel while ignoring the terrorist threat they face every single day. If aid groups are so concerned, maybe they should focus on making sure their help doesn’t end up in the wrong hands. At the end of the day, security should come first, and Israel shouldn’t be forced to compromise just to appease outside voices.

Israel shouldn’t be bending to international pressure when it’s in the middle of defending itself from terrorists. Every time they ease up, Hamas just uses the aid as cover to regroup and rearm. The media never talks about how Hamas is responsible for the suffering by hiding behind civilians and stealing supplies—Israel’s just trying to protect its own people.
